Ace of Wands – First Things First

I think the Ace of Wands is a good place to start the first blog.

“THE SPARK CARD”

Before we get started, a couple thoughts:  first, I believe that in order to fully embrace the messages offered by the cards, each tarot card reader must find a personal connotation and connection associated with each card.  This creates a link between the reader’s super-conscious and the cards themselves.  While the cards have a generally accepted interpretation, the personal connection with the cards often adds an additional layer to the reading.

In these posts, I will offer a “tagline” to help build associations while learning the cards and as a quick reference when doing readings.  I find it important for all readers, however,  to develop their own relationships with the cards and their messages as they hone their skills .  In general, I use these taglines to jog my memory in order to fully interpret the card during readings.

As for the Ace of Wands:

  • Initiation: dynamic and driving forces; beginning of action; initiation; seed of a new idea (that you are excited about)
  • Newness:  new job, new career prospect, new business prospect
  • Energy:  creative energy; dynamic action

Bottom line:  This card represents new energy, or SPARK, to get new ideas and initiatives moving.  You will find authenticity and

Daily Tarot Card

Hello there!  Welcome to the Daily Tarot Card Blog!  This blog offers general knowledge about the tarot cards to entertain and enlighten.  Thanks for visiting and keeping an open mind.

As for the format and method:  I normally do a three-card Daily Tarot reading for myself every morning which helps me review the cards and learn more each time I see a card.  For this blog I will choose one of the cards I come across to discuss each day.  I will incorporate a number of different sources (see below) that have contributed to my interpretation.

Of note, I have my own connections with the cards that assist me during one-on-one readings that I will not share here.  My super consciousness stirs personal feelings around the cards that offer messages specific to my own understanding.  This is not unique, most tarot readers develop their own personal feelings related to the cards which make their tarot card readings special.   The cards have universal meanings, but personal connotations as well which anyone can develop over time.

While these personal notes do not  necessarily belong on the general knowledge section of this blog, they are important during personal readings.    Plus, most importantly, the cards read by themselves do not necessarily provide a clear message – they MUST be read in context with one another in the spread.  This is often where readers help.
